It's strange, but the anaconda is the winner. Anacondas can even swallow a hippo, a shark, even a great white shark but anacondas can swallow a crocodile, but almost never. Crocodiles wins most of the time against anaconda. There's only one video on youtube there it is a fight between hippo and anaconda. In that video, the anaconda swallowed the hole hippo. So anaconda wins.

My first instinct is the hippo. They have wickedly powerful jaws, and I've heard they can take on a croc. If the hippo was weak or young, then maybe the anaconda could kill it. Anacondas eat deer and such. I think there are different kinds of hippo; I'm not sure. The African hippo is the big one that can take on a crocodile...or is that Australia? I'm too lazy to look it up...

Lbs for Lbs the anaconda would win but the weight different is too much for the anaconda to overcome so I say Hippo win.

The hippopotamus would win because it can kill the anaconda with one bite from its huge jaws. Also, anacondas don't eat hippopotamuses.

A hippo is to big for an anaconda to eat, so the conflict would never occur.
