I agree with you. YouTube comments are, for the most, unregulated and anyone can post anything they want: spam, vulgarity, hate speech, you name it. I've even been through a few flame wars with a few ignorant, racist pricks.
YouTube, I believe, needs to be more like YA. People should be able to report negative answers and get those people suspended from YouTube.

Someday I mean someday we will get beyond this people are people no matter what color,I known many black and spanish oriental that I would trust with my life as well as white people. Ive known scumbags of every race also, Ive seen prejudice on both sides any way you look at it it is the ugliest part of human nature. Perhaps if we quit giving creedence to the individual that calls someone a ****** or a ******* or a chink or a haole and begin to feel sorry for the ignorance they live in and the people who are on their way to enlightment will become more powerfull with stronger voice, you win more converts by demonstrating what is correct rather that whineing protesting and crying predudice at every instance of perceived wrong doing.

i havent seen what your talking about specifically. But if your speaking in general its not exactly true. Someone is always making some comment about something someone else has done or is doing. doesnt matter the ethnicity but the ones that get specified are the "white" comments to "black" or "mexican". truth be told you dont actually know what "color" that person making the comment is. Thats the wonderful and horrible thing about the internet. you assume ethnicity. And in truth, ethnicity should never come into play in anything but until ppl become color blind and gender blind there will always be racism and ppl (like you) that have to comment or "ask questions".

I think it's because they are too afraid to say their hateful things to people's faces so they hide behind a computer screen and post them on someplace like YouTube. I like the freedom on the YouTube comments. Sure people can say nasty, racist things but then we can come back and defeat them with counterattacks. I've been called the "C" word amongst other things on there. That's fine. I'm very capable of firing back at these people and I like the open forum on there.

I don't visit YouTube much because of how hateful people can be there. I go once in a while to catch up on my favorite posters, but that is probably once every quarter.
I have seen the same types of behavior you are discussing. It makes me sad too, and often angry. I tend to try to avoid things which make me angry, things I can't do anything about, change in anyway, due to my efforts to keep stress levels down in my personal and professional life. Life has enough stressors that we have to deal with, without looking at things I have a choice in viewing, which cause stress.
The sad fact of life is that there are hundreds of millions of hateful people who share the world with us. These types of people are hateful for various reasons, and in their hatefullness they wish to inflict as much harm or damage to others as they possibly can. They actually get off on doing this and will go out of their way to find opportunities to hate on others, and be as abusive as they possibly can be.
People like this have some serious isues with self esteem, and self confidence. They also have serious issues with jealousy, envy, and hate to see others do well, succeed, or have good happen to them. Many of these people have the idea that life owes them something, and if others have something they don't, it doesn't matter if that person worked hard for it, and they didn't even try, they expect stuff to just *be* theirs too, without any effort or work.
Yeah, these people crawl all around the web and usenet and they do everything possible to cause upset, hurt, or discomfort to others who share the communities.
The best thing to do is just accept that they are out there and doing alll they can to cause upset. The only way to get ahead of them and to stop them, is to ignore them. They will move onto something and somebody else if they do not get any responses from their victims.
People like this are bullies, and in the Online community they feel a high level of anonymity and so they are even bolder and more hateful than if they were in public. It is rather like those who have "road rage", which is just another form of anonymity, which encourages folks who are normally inclined towards hatefullness to be increasingly hatefull, more than they normally would be while in the presence of others.
It is a shame that people need to be so horrid to others, but it is a simple fact of life. The best thing to do is conduct our own lives as well as we can, and ignore those who tend towards hatefullness, spitefullness, and jealousy.
Thats what I try to do, but sometimes I come across a post which just jumps out at me in the level of spitfullness and it upsets me for a while, until I can shake it off and resume my day in a positive manner.
Good luck and a very nice holiday season.

I totaly see what you are saying. They are just ignorant people that think they know more than everyone else. The truth is that they are mad at themselves for being the race that they are and that they feel so insecure with thier race, they have to put down every other race.

Don't watch videos that have obviously been put up to make fun of people. Expect rude comments...
It's someone's stress release and is simply not worth your or anyone decent's time.

People put the comments up to get attention. Ignore them and after awhile they give up and move to a new forum where they can get people to argue with them.
