Okay fellow Buckeye fans. I have a question:
What do YOU think it will take for everyone to cut OSU some slack? All I've heard all season (especially on Y!A) is that the team stinks, they haven't played anyone and blah blah blah.
I'm over it and quite tired of it...but what will it take for everyone to quit hating on the Bucks?
I know that if OU does beat Mizzou this weekend, WV wins and OState moves to the NC game many people will be upset and frankly, that's not my problem - it's theirs. But even if OSU wins in that NC game with a decent margin, there will still be haters and nay-sayers.
What more could our team do? (besides win...and we already do that). lol.
Your thoughts?

Im a Buckeyes fan and I hear ya' with everyone's complaints but I do have to say ONE thing. The Buckeyes have lost to teams that have played a spread out offense on em. Florida did it, and so did Illinois. I think all these other teams and coaches have realized that too so hopefully OSU will begin to really work on defending it

I'm not a fan of OSU and I do think they are at least a LITTLE over-rated this year. But only time will tell. I'm a big WVU fan and I would be more than happy to have OSU play WVU in the NC game. I personally think our speed would be the factor and as long as there were no mental errors on offense (fumbles, etc.) I think WVU would win it...by what margin I don't know.

BUT if OSU would win and win soundly....not by a bad call by the refs like they did against Miami a couple or so years ago (sorry, it's true), I will be one of the first people to congratulate them on here.

I just hope OSU fans can do the same if WVU beats them...if they play.

However, with all of that said, I truly wish that Missouri and WVU are the ones who make it to the NC game because it would issue in a new day to college football and might get that "playoff" ball rolling a little better.

OSU has a lot of potential coming up and they are rebuilding, but for this year...I don't think they are that much of a powerhouse because they beat up on the rebuilding Big Ten. And Illinois once again proved the "spread offense" point. Hopefully the new OSU speed/strenght & conditioning coach hired can help them overcome that obstacle...but that does take time.

Yeah I'm tired of hearing crap and I'm tired of the "it's the OSU fans. They're too arrogant" whatever! I've lived in Ohio my whole life so of course I'm an OSU fan, sue me! Just because I'm a fan doesn't make me arrogant! Some people just need to grow up and realize there's more to life than bashing a good team and their fans! I personally don't care if they win or lose because I like them no matter what! That's how most OSU fans in Ohio feel! True fans are there no matter what. Oh yeah, and I'd much rather see OSU go to the Rose Bowl against USC, now that's a game worth watching!

Too be honest the system just got it wrong this year. Or will. The two best teams it seems WILL NOT be playing in the big game. You have a team Kanas who while they lost were unbeaten most of the year. While everyone else with one loss was praying. It's not how many you loss But when. Kasas.Mizz, and you have to look at LSU three OT'S two they lost. Man that's rough. I don't like LSU but the SEC is the best as far as hard football games this year. No one will win the title from there with all those loses. As for Ohio they just smell!

If Ohio St. plays West Virginia in the championship, I am sorry. West Virginia will smoke them. As shown against both Florida and Illinois, Ohio St. cannot stop the spread offense. WVU runs the spread offense to perfection. You are better off to hope Missouri wins and keeps you out of the championship so you can be saved from two straight years of embarrassment.
