It's true, many women have difficulty climaxing during intercourse. However, I would suggest some self-exploration, touching yourself & see what you enjoy, so you can better ask for what you need. I would also recommend a sex therapist, if you're not opposed to seeking outside help.
The therapist will work with both of you, I'm not suggesting sex surrogate (that is something else completely). Hope this helps... :)

A lot of women have this problem. I'm not one of them but it is common. I suggest more foreplay and possibly sex toys. Now foreplay is a pretty broad subject. Some of the things I do to work up to having sex are: I'll write him a note that he can find when he is getting ready for work, suggesting that I'm feeling a bit "frisky". Then I'll text him a short but kind of suggestive note. When he comes home I begin my true attack. He's the same way we take turns turning each other on and by the time actual sex comes into play it seems that much better. With my boyfriend I have always had an orgasm. Usually more than once(Pklease don't hate me.) But seriously give more foreplay and try sex toys if they don't work talk to your gynie. maybe he/she could give you some advice.

A lot of women don't reach orgasm during penetration alone, I personally don't. Have you tried more foreplay or even sex toys?
