Only evidence they have is the killing of one Danish newspaper editor and even that is flimsy (one person already executed for that crime) and that he is involved in the deportation of some danish jews. Do you think this is justified, should he be tried ? or is it time to move on, views from both sides please

I read the article about Soren Kam and then the list of most wanted Nazi war criminals. The list includes Ivan Demjanjuk. This man was extradited to Israel for trial some years ago and was released.Turns out many witnesses gave false testimony and others had faulty memories.I think the Jewish Nazi hunters lost all credibility by going after Demjanjuk and oddly they are still after him.The case against Kam is questionable.I laugh at the accusation he stole a population register and used it to deport Jews.If this man was the sinister Nazi his detractors claim he was,he simply would have seized the list.Kam was an Obersturmfuhrer in the SS,a mere Lieutenant. He probably wasn't a nice guy,but really, how responsible for the Holocaust could a man of such low rank be?I ask the Nazi hunters to prove to me,beyond a doubt, that Kam was directly responsible for the deaths of Jews in the concentration camps,or else leave him alone. The whole subject is very difficult. It breaks the heart to know what happened to those people in the camps. But it might be time to put Nazi hunting to rest.A very excellent movie on the subject is Walk On Water.

There is no "statute of limitations" for murder. I don't think there should be. And even less should there be a statute of limitations for Nazi war crimes.
There are few Nazi criminals left; but if they are caught, they should be prosecuted.
