Strong accent or weak accent?
Just curious...

If you're visiting a different part of the country, those folks are going to think you have an accent. Suthernnn folks drawllll y'alll, N.E. refuse to pronounce Rs. So Cal has their accent. I guess only people from NE Ohio speak with no accent. Geez, you'll never guess where I live.

I've lived in the state of NY for six years now. Even though it's obvious to some that I am an Aussie (most people mistaken me for being British), I've been told my accent isn't as strong as my fellow countrymen back home.
But yeah, I do have an accent....or is it the American's that do? LOL!

People say I have a Philadelphia accent. I was up in Maine one time and the waitress asked where I was from? I said Philly. She said oh she could tell? Yo What I talk like Rocky or something ? I don't hear it if I do.

Yes, but its so jacked up! Its ghetto southern, mixed with a minnesota accent at times, mixed with a philly and jersey accent!!! Lmao.
I'm from the south, moms from minnesota, and fiance was born in philly, now I live in philly and his mom has a STRONG philly accent, and one of my good friends is from jersey... ahaha.

I don't hear it all of the time, but I have been told that I have a mild Spanish, New York and sometimes English accent . . .
