It'll come back to you, if it's meant to be. Nice in theory, but not in practice. If I love something, I want to change something, compromise and try to make it work. If I am loved, I want to be kept, not set free.

If the thing that you love wants to be set free then by all means give it what it wants.
unless it is something like your child.. you let it go but have it on a leash(but dont let them know that they're on a leash)
but other than that if the thing you love doesnt want to be there then yes, let it go.

Well, just because I love something or someone does not mean I hold it captive. The fact that I love it does not make it mine... then why or how should I set it free???

I used to when I was younger, but now I believe if you love something hold onto it as tight as you can and never let it go. True love is too rare to give up on.

sure...if you set it free and it comes back then it was meant to be and if it doesn't it was never really yours to start with.

I believe in that completely.....my husband and i separated over a year ago and then we decided to give it another go...so yes, i do believe
