is poznan nice? ive been to krakow and thought it was fantastic! wasn't too impressed with warsaw though.

Hey! As it comes to the weather it is really hard to tell as it changes each yr. I'm from same state as Poznan is and it used be cold in January, like really cold -20C or -25C, even last year! But there were times when it was like plus 10C.As it comes to snow...well last yr we had 4dys of snow in the entire winter time ( not sure whether there was any in Jan ). I would recommend takin' some really warm clothes as well as less wormer too :)
Poznan is an awesome place tho not as nice as Krakow but definitely better than Warsaw. There's quite a lot to see and many places to hang out at at night. I'm in Poznan every 2nd weekend, so I know what I'm talking about :) I heard tho Thursdays are the best to go out! Let me know if you wish to know some more : dodothy1983@yahoo.com

Poznan is OK as a city, quite friendly bunch.
In january it will be winter- from 0 to -12 celscius (may go down to -20 at night) and snow or sleet
