Anyone out there have small children under 10? Here`s a scenario :
Your kid has had a drawing and painting class today,
what pictures do you except him/her to bring home and show you ?

Pictures of the sun, sky, trees, fields, flowers, kids playing,
match stick cats n dogs….the innocent things innocent kids
see every day right?

Ok imagine the pictures a Palestinian kid brings home from
school after his/hers day painting ? Pictures of building reduced
to rubble, the trail of helicopter fire, bullets raining down on the
houses and courtyards, blood on the streets, people carrying
coffins down the main road, these are the mental images of
innocent kids aged 10 or under who have seen their mothers
fathers sisters brothers butchered by incoming fire.

This is to all the people who think muslims send their kids
to be suicide bombers….the children who have seen these
atrocities draw what they see: At 10 years of age, they are
filled with hate and prejudice towards their occupiers, they
are asked and they agree to be suicide bombers to avenge
the killing of their mothers and fathers.

I have 2 children under 5, they are totally innocent, they
have to be shielded from the above, shame on everyone
who thinks muslims send their kids to be suicide bombers,
shame on you for letting this happen. A whole generation
of innocent children have warped images in their head.
Look at your kids tonight, is that what you want for your
innocent under 10? I will spare you the link where these
portraits are google them for yourself

Shame on you

OYEP,
That's heartbreaking, but unfortunately, not at all surprising. There are many thousands of Palestinians (some far older than the age of ten) that have known NOTHING but life under the iron fist of Israeli military occupation.
It seems to me as though I recall something similar among the children of Belfast, back in the '70's. There was even a program initiated by some kind-hearted Americans to foster some of these kids in their own homes, to give them some sense of hope and stability, until the madness subsided.
I wish I could foster one of those poor Palestinian kids! But of course, that's not the answer. The only answer is a peaceful and prosperous Palestinian nation, and the Zionists are very reluctant to relinquish their supposed "victimhood" status.

You are wrong to address us all generally, and pour shame on us. Address those who have the ability to do something about it. Make us aware by all means. Why spare us the link? We have a choice as to whether we open it. The bitterness you feel is understandable. But you are expressing it to the wrong forum. Apart from one or two who would be willing to make a silly sweeping gesture, there is no-one on here who would condone or get any pleasure from the misery of others. By heaping the shame on us in that way, you are demonstrating that very attitude you despise, and I would ask you to think about that. It is a fact is it not , that there are Muslims who send their youngsters to sacrifice. That doesn't mean we think they all do. There are Muslim extremists. That doesn't mean we think they all are. I regret that there are people who make ignorant sweeping statements, and my heart goes out to the situation you describe. In the comfort of our homes we have our problems too, but nothing that can compare to your description. The overwhelming majority will have every sympathy, and I sincerely wish you and your family a better future.

The images you describe remind me exactly of the drawings typical of Salvadoran children during the civil war. I have seen quite a few of them.
The experience of war in the streets is bound to have a damaging effect on a lot of children. I have seen that too.
I have heard of Salvadoran children joining the rebel forces during that time of war. I have also heard of Salvadoran children joining gangs after they were moved to the US. But I have never heard of Salvadoran children or adults on either side resorting to suicide bombings.
What is the difference between these two distressed populations?
One difference that I can think of is, that Salvadorans are predominantly Christian: Catholic mainly, but also Protestant. The victims of oppression may have an instinct to revenge, but it is generally recognized that revenge as such is not good. I have heard Salvadorans saying that those who commit atrocities will go to hell. They are willing to fight, but killing the opposition is not their main goal. They want justice and fairness and a a better life.

I suppose you might consider me to be a crazy mixed up kid. Although I'm certainly not a kid.

I don't believe the Israeli's should ever have been given the land they believe should be their by right. My great grandfather was a Jew but married out of his faith. I guess that's what gives me the facility to be objective.

On the other hand, I don't like having Muslims in my country. I consider they have a different lifestyle and cause a lot of tension.

I am very sorry for the way your children have to live and wish you all the best.

Problem is the people we protest to are being manipulated by the people causing the problem. That's why I despair for the Palestinian cause.
There are peace talks going on at the moment and the participants have been invited by the administration that year in year out finances Palestinian misery.

a child does not know only what it's told
have you not seen the news where the palestinian/israeli and american leaders are discussing progress?
Or don't you want to see peace?

you know fine well the innocents always suffer in a war-it is very difficult fighting a guerrlila movement as they don't keep to the Geneva Convention- we all feel for the children
