Thats life...thats the way it goes. I mean look at the world...there are so many people living in poverty, so many people working 2 or 3 jobs to take care of their family, so many people living paycheck to paycheck. While at the same time there are people out there that don't have a single worry when it comes to money. There is always going to be sombody better off than you and there is always going to be somebody worse off than you. Thats life! In order for somebody to win, somebody else has to lose.

I don't think it has to be this way, no.
It all depends how you measure success.
if you control your own evaluation regardless of what is going on outside then everyone could be a winner.
So I think success depends upon your point of view. If you like others to fail to make you look good that is what you will look for - If you can recognise your own successes when no one else does that is what you will get.
Just because we live in a competititve world doesn't mena that we all have to buy it and be that way out.

I think that success can come from personal achievement- it doesn't have to be related to other people failing.
10 people could score 100% on the same test- all of them will have succeeded and none of them will have failed. Other than the people who may have failed that test obviously.
Anyway as I was saying in my opinion success can definitely come without others failing.

what if you have no means to measure? What if you are a loner? How can you witness a fall? Can a loner be successfull? I think success is to be measured by the one who seeks it.
