I mean, I have "Vivaldi's four Season's" since almost an hour on the Speakerphone while waiting for someone in the Italian Consulate to pick up the phone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I hang up the phone now, I have to start all over again !! Why are they so lazy in that building ????????????

It makes me not inclined to do business with whoever I am trying to reach when that happens. I mean, in this day and age an automated system will often answer a question without having to talk to a person and then the calls where personal assistance is needed happen faster. I can call my bank and by hitting the right keys can find out my bank balance without needing to wait for a person and that can be used many times in other cases as well. I really hate waiting on the line when they are playing music I don't like!! Hank Williams or Patsy cline I don't mind, but Michael Jackson? Give me a break!!

I hate automated phone systems and having to listen to elevator music for even five minutes- drives me crazy! I tend to push 0 (makes me think I'm speeding up the holding time). lol

I'm with you. The worst time I remember was trying to get hold of someone at my bank last spring to tell them I was going to be abroad for a few days....after a period of waiting, I just gave up.
