amber......he isnt here. i did ask and he said to spend time with me so he has been next door for 2 hours so he lied!!

if i was stayed home to spend time with my wife she wouldn't be on answers talking about it beecause i actually would be spending time with her, but i would have went to work because one of the duties of a husband is to provide for his family.

When he gets back tell him he owes you a great dinner and entertainment tonight since he got lost on Wife Day! Sounds like he just wanted some time off without you getting angry that he took off a day. He is trying to make you think he is doing it for you, but it is actually all for him...He did get his day off, didn't he?!?

If I took a day off, I want the day off. Staying at home with my wife would NOT be a day off. He's out decompressing...

He very possibly could have just not wanted to go to work....he could have very well have been with another women. It is hard to know without knowing your husband.
If I were you, I would wait until he gets home and ask him about his day. Play it casual, see what he says. If he says how work was boring and the same as usual, you know he is hiding something. If he talks about how he skipped out and went to do X with his friends then you know he is being sincere.

Maybe he just didn't feel like going, got fired, suspended, quit, I don't know but you need to find out.
