I gain understanding of people through their words, which express their personal life, anger, peace of mind, deception; and I can learn through their own feelings… words are living entities.

Oh, I'm not so concerned about points, but trying to help others in the Poetry Division, has actually helped me! I go about critiqueing a poem in a nice way, saying what is so very good about how they handle images, form, meter, internal rythme(never could spell that word right), end rythme, and other things needing addressing. On the other hand, I suggest things that could be written clearer, better, more concise...for me, there will never be a 'nasty comment'. I don't believe that helps any poet!
I have gained a place of friends, a place of warmth, a place to ask questions...I feel at home here...there's just 'something' about this Poetry Division that beckons.
