Ok well I’m not all that into Greek mythology and I wanted to know if there was a reliable , (closer to the original myth on a site, or book? Please I need this for e report on the poem “ A Partial History Of Poppies” and I want to be familiar with the myth” The Rape of Persephone” . Thanks!

Mythology by Edith Hamilton is a classic collection of myths from Europe and the Mediterranean.

Haides liked Persephone so much that he stole her when she was picking up the flowers in the field. Then he raped her just to make sure that she stays there. the end.
