Yes, there is a woman in the Ladies Aid at our church that takes all the credit for things that others have done, including myself.

Then to top it all off, we had a picture taken of our group for the Thanksgiving food pantry drive a week or so back. Just as they were about to take the picture, she suddenly decided that she needed to stand right in front of me. Well, I hope she likes the little horns coming out of her head when she sees the developed picture!

I think I'm the worst 'thorn in my flesh'. I bring most things on myself, I can't blame others when my life is not as I wish it were or for the things I do or have done.
The trouble is others can get away from their thorn, but I am always with mine. LOL-sorta.

In Answer to your question...

I fell into the bush... many thorns, as long as I hold real still it doesn't hurt to badly... the medication does help, lol...

we always have a choice as to how much we will or will not endure, it's making that choice that is the hard part, for some of us.

One of my grandchildren. They are constantly trying to start trouble in our family. They telll big whoppers and tell people that so and so said so and so about them when it isn't true at all. We weren't aware of this until we compared notes. This person pouts and pouts if they don't get their way at our family get togethers. We just pretty much ignore what they say now. I still love them, just don't like what they do.
Wick, is that the same sister-in- law that you said talks real loud? You mentioned her here before Thanksgiving.

My step son. He lived with us for the past 7 years and was EXTREMELY difficult. His mom indulged his every wish and we didn't so he made life miserable for us. He moved out on his 18th birthday (in May) and has been back once, to borrow stuff from his dad.
I worked very hard on being a good step mom but it was never good enough. Step parenting is the hardest job I ever had!

Mother, hands down. Need I say more. I take comfort in knowing I am not the only senior with a less than stellar parent.

It has long been over, but it was an employer who held the franchise to a home health care agency. She was a most unethical person.

2. We have a rather strange lady at work that everybody just knows isn’t wrapped real tight, but nobody wants to say anything....
