wtf! the country was built on a foundation of slavery, fought a civil war largely over the same, and until only 40 short years ago was legally racist.

I lived 9 years in south america and now in europe for 7 years and people here dont even acknowledge race

race in america is part of life

in europe or south america race is like a secondary thing

Its the constant barrage of racial warriors putting us on high alert and hypersensitivity to anything resembling racism. Our "affirmative action" culture that screams it from the top of every building and pounds it into our heads with ridiculous figures like Al Sharpton ! His dedication to keeping race in the forefront of every issue has simply precipitated the problem. Of course you can't mention his name without bringing up the racial extortion that goes on everywhere that Al or Jesse can extort money. Its hard to believe this still goes on ! huh ! We have gotten so manipulated by the pop culture to believe that racism resides within every white man like a demon. And the only way we can rectify this is to walk around on egg shells around minorities. and so ! Everyone is just sitting around waiting to be offended.... its ridiculous ! But its true ! every time another movie comes out highlighting the racial struggles in the 60's..... it starts all over again. Instead of laying all this hatred to rest we keep giving it a stage and watching it over and over. It could be solved if we just let it go but we just can't seem to do it .

Social conditioning. The rich and powerful elite know they cannot remain in their positions of dominance without dividing the masses. So they play divide and conquer and race is one of the easiest things to divide people with. They sensationalize the news (jena 6, Imus) to put us into a height of paranoia on all sides, so that we will fight eachother and not pay attention to the freedoms and economic power that is being stripped away from us.

Quite sad actually. I wish people would wake up. Unity is power.

I guess we are to concern to see who is the "best race" We don’t think We are all American we see as Mexicans, Blacks, Whites, Asian. . . and so on Americans. We just need to get over it a just love each other.
Also our country is not a poor or devastated by famine and natural disaster our actual war in our land. Most of us don’t care what is going on beside what we see in our surrounding oh . . . and T.V of course. There is other countries were they have not time to check out peoples skin color because they are to busy trying to get something to eat for the day.
We have to much free time. Well most of us. Don’t want to generalize = )
