Depends entirely on the instructor. If possible, ask around to find out who is the best for making it interesting and grading leniently. I teach world civ in college and try to make it fun.
I also grade easily because I don't think anyone should stumble in their college career over a basic survey history course.
There will be plenty of other tougher course to test you.
History should be fun. Memorizing dates and names is not as important as THINKING WHY things happened the way they did.
Also, the answer above about taking what you are most curious about is good advice. It's always easier to read something you care about.

Depends on the professor. Both could be hard. I guess world civ II would have a broader range of things to cover, which could be harder, but it wouldn't have as much time to cover in depth, so it could be easier.
Which interests you more? That's the one to take.

Depends on the teacher in many ways.
Also, depends on what you prefer in the way of class.
Do you like having more breadth and less depth? That would be world history.
Do you like having more depth and detail and less area to cover? That would be American history.

Depends on what professor you get. World Civ.II was hard for me, my American Hist. professor was so easy, jsut all depends on the teacher.
