There's fast food place on every corner... most are pretty good, too, and that's why Americans butts are getting bigger and bigger. The big difference between now and the 70's is portion size... first there was a hamburger, then the Whopper, then the double and triple Whopper!! I live inTexas, and the Mexican food here is cheap and it is awesome, so that's usually where I go for fast food. I can have a bowl of tortilla soup and two tacos for around $ 3.00. Margaritas at happy hour time are a steal!

Popeye's Chicken in the South. Red beans and rice with an order of Shrimp Cravers.
They are small fried shrimp and plenty of them. Now they also have catfish bites. Rolled in cornmeal. I try to stay away but have to go by once a week at least.

You cant beat White Castle. They have this meal for 5 bucks where you get ten bugers, fries and a soda.
Oh yeah and you can buy Ramen Noodles. They are 36 cents for a cup.
