Baby's skin can be so sensitive. And just like adults, each infant is different. Maybe a dryer sheet wouldn't bother your baby's skin, but maybe it would. I say better safe than sorry: No dryer sheet.

I used the normal dryer sheets for both my kids and they are fine. Just give it a try as long as you don't see any redness, rashes or bumps coming up you should be fine.
My sister was allergic to the detergent my mom used with her, at the time all that was available was dreft though. I really like that Purex Baby Detergent.

I wouldn't use normal ones. There are dryer sheets for babys too. I forget what they are called but they have them. Baby's skin is sooooo sensitive at this age I just wouldnt risk a rash.

I would suggest not using any dryer sheets. Instead, if you must, use liquid softener. I for one have terrible rashes from dryer sheets. It leaves chemical all over everything. I don't even have sensitive skin!

I use an all natural, enviromentally safe, allergy free, ashtma free dryer sprinkle. It's called SNAP.
It smells wonderful and contains no wax like normal sheets that can cause skin irritations and clog up the vent in your dryer.
You can order it online from the following web site:
www.marketamerica.com/fuentes
There you will find a whole line of all natural household cleaners for your home, including laundry soap.
Hope this helps!

Don't use any fabric softener or dryer sheets on any of your clothes. They are full of dangerous chemicals. If you need to soften your clothes use a downy ball in your washer with white vinegar in it. Vinegar is a natural fabric softener and it will not leave your clothes smelly! Check out the link below, really all you need to do is type "dryer sheet danger" into Google and you will get all you need to convince you not to use them on your clothes or your babies clothes!

i washed all my son's clothing in regular detergent that i use. the first couple times i did not use a dryer sheet but now i do.
my thing is that dreft is a waste of money. think about it: are you going to wash all YOUR clothing in it also? why do you ask? well the baby will be held by you and your husband which is washed in regular detergent. so his or her skin will come in contact w/ it anyway.

No...no dryer sheets. There are natural alternatives at the grocery...my favorite are lavender packets, sold in qty of 4 that are good for about 10 loads each...they are wonderful!

I heard that if a child has asthma, the drier sheet is not a good idea. I did not use it for my babies until they were about 6 months old...
