Yes, it makes me sad to know that their life is so bad that they think food is the answer to feel better.

You're wrong about fat people...we don't eat 24/7 at all. I'm overweight, but I eat a lot less than most of my skinny friends. The thing is, you are probablly one of those people who can eat and eat and eat without gaining an ounce, so you think anyone who's fat must eat way more than that. Guess again--I can just look at something and gain weight. LOL. It's not fair.
But no, being around fat (hate the word obese) people doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. Most are nicer.

You would be surprised at how many people are actually obese and don't know it. An obesity diagnosis is not just about weight . It is based on your body mass index, which is a ratio of fat and lean mass. I am not uncomfortable with obese people because I am one. It is not a pretty word. I am actually about 70 pounds overweight but I don't consider myself obese. It is a medical diagnosis. I think you are a very shallow person. A person's weight or any other difference in appearance shouldn't matter to you.

ok first off all the question has two parts.. I don't mind being around obese people as long as they don't stink but no I don't think anyone needs to or looks like they should eat 24/7.
I think that they need to get out of the house more and walk and stay away from bad stuff that they eat but other then that.. most are good people.. no I'm not fat
don't you just love those who say they can just look at food and gain weight ... lol.. we ALL know better y'all

Now its sad for you to say such a thing. SOME people cant help how they look. At least they are still alive. We are all of gods children so be nice and respectful all the time no matter how a person looks. They still have a heart.

Huh? I disagree with your "they look like they should be eating" comment, but yeah, sometimes I do feel uncomfortable around obese people, but only if they're extremely obese. I don't know why. I think maybe it's because I don't want them to think I'm passing judgement on them.

Sometimes it does, but usually not. Most of the people I work with are over 200 pounds (seriously) so I'm used to being around extra large people. And you know something interesting? They eat at times less than I do, so I have no idea how they stay so darn large. Fat people must go home and literally gorge on food to stay so big. I honestly don't understand it.

No, it does not affect my personal life. However, I do find it very unhealthy and wrong for people to live their lives like that. If I had someone in my intermediate family who was obese, I would urge them to change their ways for health reasons.

Nope and there's many medical conditions that can cause it or exacerbate it (look up the word if you don't know it) so I try to be understanding. I know heavy people who don't eat much and skinny people who eat lots and lots of food.

Not at all. In my lifetime, many of the obese people that Ive befriended were warm and very welcoming.
