Tell him that you will be (or are) hung over from the night before. :-)
Honestly though, I'd probably go and hang out. Who's to say you can go and make it fun. Bring some wine/beer, play some cards or board games after everyone gets a little loopy. That is what we do with my parents and my in-laws and it is always a riot.
Nothing like a trash talking game of trouble, uno, scrabble, etc after a couple of guinesses.

Either tell him that you have other plans or develop a terrible stomach virus on the morning of the brunch. Although, you should consider that your brother is inviting you so that he can have someone to talk to.

I agree w/ Dan! Bring a bottle of champagne (champagne brunches are actually pretty popular from what I've heard - I've never personally attended one!) & a couple board games! Who knows, you might just have fun!
