My girlfriend and I have been together for 5 1/2 months and she left on vacation on Tuesday. She sent me a text message on Wednesday and I replied back and I haven't gotten a response. It has been over 24 hours now and I haven't gotten anything back from her. I am in Italy and she is now in Jamaica. Should I be concerned? She has me nervous now.

Have you text her again? Maybe the text didn't go through. Or maybe she is out of pocket. Don't jump to conclusions. I'd say if you don't hear from her soon then try calling the hotel at a reasonable hour Jamaica time. But only if you are worried for her safety, not because you are worried that she is cheating.

If I was on holiday in Jamaica, I'd be on the beach & swimming in the ocean all day--- and would leave my phone at the hotel! She's probably just enjoying herself, give her some time, I'd say you have nothing to worry about.

Calm down...maybe her service is out or her phone is dead and she does not have a charger. Don't just assume the worst yet.. I know that it feels like FOREVER, but you know how cell phones are not reliable some times...give her the benefit of the doubt.. and call her tomorrow if you have not heard from her!

honestly i wouldn't be to shaken up.
it takes a while for text messages to send through when your quite a distance away.
maybe she is trying to make the most of her vacation.
lighten up.
if nothing bad has happened up to this.

I UNDERSTAND YOU CARE ABOUT HER THAT IS FINE SHE IS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. OKAY. CONTACT SOMEONE ELSE SHE MAY BE IN CONTACT WITH JUST TO SEE IF SHE IS OKAY. IF SHE IS THEN DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT.
