Well that bites. I was really hoping that you guys did it this month! Don't you dare pick up those opks! LOL. No, I think you should relax through December. Christmas will be coming soon. December is such a happy time...and it would be just good to relax. Sit back with the cocoa and watch Christmas movies. Then, as soon as New Year's comes, go back at it full force! I stopped using the opks and charting a couple of months ago, and I have been in such a better mood about ttc. But you are right. God is on your side, and when God deems the time worthy you will get pregnant, and the opks won't change that! So, just relax and have a very Merry Christmas!

I am sorry :(
As far as charting and using opk's this cycle- While praying about it I would consider whether not charting actually helped alleviate stress, did it create more stress, or did you notice a difference? I did not chart last month and the only thing it saved me was money on buying opk's and preseed! I still stressed, worried and wondered during the tww, I was still upset when AF arrived. I am going to give "not trying" another try this month though. We are going to bd every other day starting on day 6 and see what happens :) It sounds like you have a great plan for ttc starting with the New Year. Pray, and then give it to God and let go. The hardest thing I find is being able to stand strong in His will. Bless you HoneyB!

Hi there,
Well, the good news is it sounds like you had a good cycle without the Clomid... so that's progress :)
As for charting, I would do it. I wouldn't necessarily be "trying" to conceive, but I would chart just to have record of what's going on with your cycles while you're not on fertility meds. I strongly believe that charts provide great information about your hormones. So if you can chart without all the emotions, I would say try to do it. It would be interesting to see how you do on a cycle now that you're not taking Clomid. However, if charting is too closely related to TTC, then maybe you should just pass this cycle.
We're here for you no matter what you decide :)
Good luck.

I'm very sorry to hear that AF showed up but I love your positive attitude through all of this. i just know God will bless you with the baby of your dreams soon and you sure do deserve it. Right now I am not officially trying and I have to say it is much less stressful this way. I would say to continue standing strong without the charting and opk's, relax and have a great holiday season :)

Hi!
Sorry to hear that!!
I would not chart and just relax through the rest of the holidays. That way you are not stressed..I am definitley going to do that if I dont get that BFP in a couple of weeks. Just enjoy the holidays and pick it back up after Christmas.
Update on me....I got a +OPK again this morning and tested again this afternoon and it was a little lighter so I guess its fading. I think I O'd yesterday. So we shall see.

It's time for a break. The holiday season is upon us, this can cause undue stress without the opks, bbting, cm checking....ARRRRGGGHHH! Let's take another break, enjoy the holidays with hubby, fam, and friends.....and good ol' fashion ttc without the opks, etc. You did have positive news, you had a norm cycle without the clomid! Let your body and mind rest this upcoming month. You sound like a woman of faith, and you must know that God's hand is in everything.Your positivity is contagious! I love your optimism you're displaying, continue this, as well as steadfast prayer. I will lift you up in my prayers, Honey. Happy, happy holidays to you and yours! Let's leave the technical fertility monitoring til Jan....enjoy the season to be jolly! Many blessings to you and hubby!

You know what I would do, and what I am seriously thinking about doing. Temp until you are sure that you have Oed, and then stop. It seems that those two weeks are always the most stressful for everyone. This way you will know how many dpo you are, and can just relax in the tww. Sorry Af showed. We will both have out BFP's real soon. I just know it!!

Hey girl!
I just started having light pink spotting today, and I just know AF is comming. For some reason I kept feeling like this month would NOT be my month, but still had some hope. I also keep feeling like next month might be my month and I am also excited about trying and doing diff things this time, all natural though. Goodluck!

Sorry to hear that AF showed up, but better luck to you next month. :) Clomid messed my cycles up a bit after I went off of it, so that could be the cause of the spotting. Baby dust!

I was really praying for you....but you're right, it's in God's hands. I'm happy to hear your positive outlook on this, though.
You had asked about OPKs...and yes, I would give it a shot this month if you're willing...I had so much success with them that I of course really like them. But, do what you feel is best this next cycle!
Best wishes and best of luck to you!
