Deaths are down. Iraqis are moving back from Syria. Violence is dropping. Bush's troop surge is working. Are democrats terrified that this will destroy their presidential races? All we have heard from dem nominees is how we can't win.

Maybe if democratic presidential nominees keep denying that it's working, just like what lib Y/A answerers are doing, the Americans will believe that it's not working. Please ignore all evidence and vote Democrat!

Appeal to people's emotions. It's the only thing that ever has worked for them. It can be very effective.

Appealing to reason and rationale causes them to lose.

Dems in almost every race/area are raking in the campaign cash at a much higher ratio that the Reps.

Reps are retiring from congress in droves to avoid being voted out.

At this point, almost all the contested congressional races are a lock for Dems (which there aren't many because of gerrymandering). And we need to support the GOP Pres. candidate so that something actually gets done in DC for the 4 year period (2008-2012).

Since nothing got done in the 4 year period that the GOP controlled Congress and Presidency (2002-2006), except for billions in pork barrel spending and trillions added in national debt.

The puppet government now in place in Iraq has failed to show the world that it can govern itself, defend itself and support itself. The definition of victory by Bush. When this happens let us know !

It's working so well, we'll be there for at least 50 more years to help provide stability, according to the Army times. Gee, that sounds like victory.

What might they do?

Well, if things are such a smashing success, then maybe we can begin pulling the troops out of Iraq...

The point is not to win but to occupy. Very happy to see the death toll lessen.

Well, they have Ron Paul on record as saying U.S. forces have no chance at victory. But this isn't all that surprising as he's the best candidate they're offering.

If there were any chance of us "winning", they might have something to worry about. But there isn't. Even if the surge were working, it only proves that we are only going to be able to keep the peace by continued force.... which just happens to be what Saddam did. Only we're killing more people than Saddam ever did.

Victory is failure and failure is Victory,

That is their Mantra.

Misinformation is Reality,

Reality Doesn't matter,

if you disagree with us we'll tazer you or have you thrown out.
