Christmas in one of the most fun times of the year as we make a special effort to show our family and friends that we appreciate and love them. We make special foods to take to neighbors, have friends over, go visiting people who can't get out, give to the food pantry and other ways of sharing with those less fortunate than us. We decorate the house with white lights and a nativity and lighted star. We take time off from work and house chores just to delight in our family and friends. We should do it more often!

I'm lukewarm about it. We always get together with my husbands brothers, have dinner and exchage gifts. I always buy way too many gift. Last year we moved into a new house so we like to have the family here, either that or we are crammed into my brother in laws small 2 bedroom condo with that has no parking near by and end up walking a couple blocks....ugh!
Funny christmas story.
Last year I bought a barbie doll for my neice who is 5. I also bought a carton of cigarettes (tacky I know but we also got him a nice zippo lighter) for our friend who came over. The cigarette carton and the barbie box were the same size and I mistakenly gave the cigs to the 5 year old to unwrap. Everyone started laughing hysterically and you shoulda seen the look on that little girls face! I was so embarrassed!

I dont like xmas, i havent really wanted any presents since i had a remote control night rider car when i was 8 and all it is now is meeting up with my mates so they can all tell me how well they are doing! While nothings changed for me, still single, still in debt, still in the same crummy job and the same crummy flat! At 29 im hoping by 40 it might be a different story but the last 4 years have all been the same! Hey - ho its a time for giving!

I love Christmas, and the real meaning of it. Jesus is the reason. Most people are their happiest. They seem to really show love in their giving or visiting. I wish every month had a Christmas.

I hate it. Its a time for people to but gaudy 8 foot inflatable snow globes in their front yards. Its a time to go into debt for stupid sh*t that people will return. Its a time to light up your house so the electric company can pay their employees bonuses. Its a time to curse and throw elbows so you can get the last furby or elmo. Yes, its truly a time of wonder.

Little turds don't realize I just got to bed half hour ago because I was up all night putting their toys together and unscrewing THOSE DAMN ANNOYING TWISTIES THEY PUT IN EVERY ***** TOY.
