Prince the singer means it as his REIGN over music and other ppl.
Purple is the color of ROYALTY... Its also his favorite color.
Theres another meaning for it but I dont understand it but thats what I personally have always taken it to mean.
That Prince his "Purple Majesty" is a "ruler" over who or what I have no clue. It could be in his own mind! lol
