What bank/s Indiana, USA will I go if I want to make a money transfer in BDO Philippines?

You may go to any bank in the USA like Bank of America or Washington Mutual and tell them that you need to wire money to another bank. It's fast when you do it there in the US, BUT when the money gets in the Philippines they might take some time to release it. I did that before with CalFed now CITIBANK and the money was not released in the Philippines (PNB) after a week. It was stressful so I do not really suggest you doing a bank money transfer unless the money you are sending is over $15,000 usd if its less than that you can just go to WELLS FARGO/WESTERN UNION for a quick and easy money transfer.

First, what area or town in Indiana are you from? I've lived in Indiana and I tell you, there's no BofA there nor Washington Mutual (that is from the town I've lived). The quickest way for me to send money to a BDO account is via Xoom.com

Most banks in Indiana are credit unions or National Bank, unless you're in Indianapolis, I think there's BofA there. Xoom.com usually charge me about $3.50 to $5.00 and it arrives in Philippines in hours!

Western Union I think the lowest charge is $15.00. Not really sure but I'm not a WU fan.

Citibank has a great Philippine debit card program whereby you visit a branch, fill out some papers about who it's going to and where they live, etc. Then, the card is delivered to the recipient via courier from Citibank Manila. Once you get the card number from the recipient you can visit a Citibank ATM and xfer any amount for $8 currently.
