Only because I let them hurt me. I should know better and not let them get that close but I always give in. You would think at my age I would put an end to it but I must like it or something.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES and no matter how many times I explain my side of things, usually with great reason, they continue to walk all over me. When I flee to save my life, they say "why are you running?" They don't get that they are taking and taking and taking and taking and taking and taking and taking and taking and taking. And they don't stop. It's like I shouldn't have a life of my own or a life to lead and I should be God ; ever-existing 24 hours a day tending to their needs. I get blamed for everything. It's my fault the company is failing, my fault the relationship is failing, etc, etc. These people don't see I'm human and I'm made of flesh and blood and feel pain the same way they do...one idiot in particular...his name is Ben.

At some point you realize it's just not fun to get hurt and turn the other cheek and then you just walk out.
It took me a few years but I ended it eventually. I hope you'll find the strenth to end it too.
