i have an applemac computer but it doesnt have windows so how do you get windows on your computer :) xx

depends on your mac.. the newer ones support it direct, the ones with intel chips..
you can either use "bootcamp" or if your mac is old, something like "virtual pc"

as for a certain well known pc shop.. they charge way too much for the same thing.

Hi, if u don't play any games that require Microsoft Windows then don't get it. Microsoft Windows sucks OS X is way better. OS X Leopard is the latest system from Apple. If u want Windows though then go buy it first from ur computer store, the latest is Vista. You will need to install boot camp from Apple's website at: http://www.apple.com Then partition ur hard disk and continue install Microsoft Windows. Oh yeah one more thing make sure u r using an Intel Mac.

You have to buy and install a copy of Windows, of course. Then your options are either:
(1) Get a copy of Boot Camp which lets you run either Windows or MacOS alone during one session, meaning you'll have to reboot the other to run it; or
(2) Get a copy of either VirtualPC or Parallels, which lets you run MacOS and then have Windows as a (heh, heh) window application while you're running MacOS

The Apple mac has hardware or hardware configurations the windows wasn't designed to work on. The only available OS for the mac, as far as i know as i've never owned one, is OS X with the current version being leopard.

You can buy the whole operating system from Microsoft but i don,t know if Apple Macs can support Windows.
