she is just learning. all children do things in their own time. if you NEVER leave her side then she will NEVER learn that she can go for things on her own. Leave her be and when she really wants the toys across the rooms she will go for them. just chill out and let baby be baby.

All kids are very different. My son crawled at 6 months and my daughter didn't till she was 11 months old. Try putting her on the ground on her tummy with a few toys out of reach by about 8 inches. Encourage her to try and get them. Help her by letting her use your hands as a support to her feet to start moving. Put her knees under her to try and encourage the rocking motion. She will get it in no time then you will be wishing that she was just sitting there again!

Despite my mother in law insisting that you must learn to crawl before you can walk, it is a myth.

I have two children, neither ever crawled. My first scooted on her bum very little and then one day at 8 1/2 months she pulled herself up on the side of the couch and ran across the room.

My son wasn't that dramatic. He didn't crawl, he held onto furniture for a couple of months after he was capable of walking on his own. He took 3 steps by himself, then 4, then 5 and at 10 months he was running. It just took him a while.

They are all different.

The problem is that you never leave her side. How is she going to learn to use her muscles if you are always there to support her? Babies fall, as long as you don't leave anything potentially dangerous lying around, they are fine. Put her on the floor everyday on her tummy (it's called tummy time). All babies need this tummy time daily to learn to use their muscles and make them stronger. You can sit on the couch and watch her. She'll fall, she'll cry, but she will be okay and eventually learn to crawl!

she will crawl when she wants to LOL, that's the answer. Many babies aren't interested in crawling at all and go straight to walking. One clear sign that she may be ready to crawl is when she sits w/o falling occasionally.

Absolutely nothing , unless you see something mentally wrong , My daughter completely skipped over crawling and practically went right to walking . I noticed my daughter also had a excellent control of her neck when she was born , which I think attributed to her skipping over crawling . She never showed an interest in it

Put her down to play on her tummy. It will be easier to figure out how to crawl.

Give her more, floor time to see if that will changes; let her try to take the toys on her own. Just give her time.

some children NEVER crawl.. they will just scoot themselves around on the ground to get things, and eventually will pull themselves up and learn to walk...
