up and down, flip and flop, this and that, yes and no, you get my drift. Why are they wanting to keep us off kilter? Is this the result of being caught pandering?

They want us to be so confused, that eventually, we will just go with the one we know...so repubs will vote repub, & dems will vote dem...I am not sure it helps either side at this point though!

I have harbored similar feelings since the Kennedy / Nixon debates.

Frankly I would rather be fired for what I am or not hired at all for the same reason; i.e. what you see is what you get but I'm not a politician.

Politicians, on the other hand, just want to be hired or retained and will say or do anything in an effort to make that happen. They will, literally, spend millions of dollars in an effort to find that one button they can push that will get them the most votes, and they do so with total disregard for their own ethics and character.

Sad isn't it?

I've been very disappointed with the current crop of candidates. Every time I listen to them I can't help thinking, "This is the best America can do?" Come to think of it, I feel that way every election cycle. They are so addicted to polls that it seems like leadership is dead.
