BLASPHEMY!
Sid wants a Cup more than anything, you dreamwrecker!

...Just kidding! However, Sid also said he wants to break the record for most Cups won by a player. I think now's a pretty good time to start. :P

Evgeni Malkin is just something else in international tournaments, I swear. I love how tired he was when the playoffs rolled around... But how rejuvenated he was in a short amount of time, after the Pens were eliminated in the 1st round, to play in the WC! I guess it must have been great for him to go back home to Russia though, especially considering the circumstances surrounding his departure.

As a Canadian, I'd love to see Crosby and some other Pens suit up for Canada at the next World Championships. However, I know that Crosby would rather be playing for a Stanley Cup, and it's tough to root against that.

I've already been looking at some of the lesser teams this season, and who might represent us in the spring. There are definitely some guys out there that are good possibilities - Cammalleri, Gagner, Horcoff, Iginla, etc. Not that everyone accepts the invite, but I'm already hopeful.

I'm all for Crosby representing canada at the 100th anniversary of the World Ice Hockey Championships (which should have been in Canada LONG before now)

And I can make this happen, just get Pittsburgh to play Chicago 82x a year, and voila...Pittsburgh never makes the playoffs!

Erica.............................why should I be bitter about the fact that my team had a 3 goal lead late in the 3rd period of game 1 in the 1992 Stanley Cup final and Mario Lemieux skated through the entire team and put one behind Belfour leading to a 5-4 come from behind victory for Pittsburgh. Why the f%$ would I be bitter?

;)

even though im a Bruins fan, i wouldn;t mind if the Pens won a Stanley Cup. I love to watch Crosby and the rest of Pens kick *** right through the Eastern Conference.

I REALLY respect Crosby so i guess you could call me a Crosby fan, but I'm also a Caps fan so i don't like the Pens as a whole.

Considering I have a package for the whole event ( at the Halifax venue-Metro Ctr), I would be quite happy. I am a big Crosby fan but a bigger Flyer fan.
I actually am hoping for them to miss the play-offs and praying Sidney is healthy at the end, unlike last year.

I heard one Sportscaster say that the Pens would miss the playoffs...his reasoning..."You got to get bad before you get better."
