She debuted at #10 and barely sold over 110,000 units. Is her music that bad?

I didn't even know her album was coming out. I think it may be due to lack of publicity. Also, this is a bad time of the year to release anything.

She sings very well, but the songs just aren't that great. I've heard the entire album, and I can live without it. It's just kind of out there with no focus, no particular style.

Radio play, personal interviews. She needs to generate some buzz. Sadly a DUI would probably help.

I didn't vote for her, although she's ok. Weight should have nothing to do with it. Fantasia Barrino can be considered fat.
I think it's the style of music. She's not really identified herself on any particular style.
If she has and it isn't working, she'll need to reinvent herself.
