It is a Chinese-American movie from 2005. It was a really good movie and I would love to see the sequal. Alice Wu wrote and directed the first. I am am trying to see if she did the sequel as well.

the only movie that Alice Wu is working on right now should be out in 2008. it is called "Foreign Babes in Beijing" it doesn't seem like a sequel to Saving Face. "Foreign Babes in Beijing" is actually about..DeWoskin's memoir about how as a 21-year-old poetry major looking for adventure, she headed to China and became an overnight sensation as the American vixen of a Chinese soap opera
..if you ask me it seems like a good movie
