I have always recycling things... Grandmother never waisted anything and I guess she passed that gene off to me! Most things can be transformed into something else that is useful! I have learned to let go of the things I can not find a use for!

I have tried repeatedly to get something going for recycling in the mobile home park but no one wants to either help or be responsible for it. The manager and owner refused also. I do save cans and send them to the farm with my son because they can recycle them but that is all. Wish I could do more.

yes i try to i even go so say as take a cloth bag to when what few food items i buy and never let them stick on loaf of bread of quart of oil in a bag if i can grab it and go (after i have pd for it) all of my cans and glass get recycled and i burn wood in the winter and every time we cut down at tree it is a dead one or one that is on its last leg and i also replant one in its place but i guess you would call it a form of recycling since i do not use my vehicles only for the long must do trips== i have a 1992 pickup and a 2002 suv and the total mileage on both are less than 150k miles!!!! i would estimate ove 75% of that is driving across country!!!!

I try very hard to, I even bought a large kitchen bin with 2 compartments, it really got on my nerves having two separate ones, I also recycle clothes, I wear my sisters cast offs........only kidding, we have a blue box system where I live as well, for collecting glass jars and bottles, saves having to go to bottle banks, the council collect it all, and I'm glad of that

Every other Wednesday the trash company picks up newspapers, plastic bottles and soda cans in front of my residence. I've been recycling aluminum soda cans for over thirty years.

Yes, of course. Apparently hubby does, too, because he doesn't get rid of anything. I end up "recycling" stuff he just can't part with but really has no idea why he kept it.

My Partner even recycles his empty Rizla green packets. How much more of a recycler can you get? Mind you, he doesn't get out much! Lol!

Most of us do here at my senior apartment complex. We had a special container for newspapers until management banned it. The reason, if you can believe it, was some people were putting baby diapers in it. It was disgusting. Now we just put our papers in the trash.
