I mean, YOU probably haven't done a thing but Scott and Drew have given the name a "bad name". What do you think?

Can't be any worse than having the last name of Bush or Clinton. LOL Regardless, nobody can be responsible for what a family member does.

You know, this had crossed my mind in a roundabout way. When I first heard about the Drew Peterson case (just caught the tail end of the story in passing) I was confused at first and thought they were talking about the Scott Peterson case again for some reason, and couldn't figure out why it was back in the news. Then, when I realized it was a different crime by a guy with the same last name, I wondered if they were somehow kin to each other.
I knew a family of Petersons in high school. They were all very weird--the girl was in my class, but there was a guy almost the same age that got off at the same bus stop--I think he was either a brother or a cousin. From what I remember of that weird boy, he would probably have been voted "most likely to be a killer" in his class!

For those with the last name of Peterson, it is not
likely shame, but an invitation for quirky looks, assumptions
and jokes.
Coincidentally odd, though, that the past two guys
with such a last name are lying wife killers.

tjere was anothr peterson a writer on eastcoast whose wife supposedle fell down the stairs bleeding all banged up and they convicted him - he was after the wifes insurance and 401k
he knew a lady i think his neighor in germany and she also died in a staircase accident
i have been wondering if a woman'schance of getting killed is higher if she is married to a peterson.
but peterson is a very common name
