Henry Hyde led the "moral" crusade against Bill Clinton regarding the Lewinsky affair. Yet, he had an affair with a married woman while he was married.
He was also charged in the S&L scandal and let his "friends" go down.
What an example of morality! A criminal AND hypocrite. Well, thats a con-servative for you!

Not by Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, (anyone at Fox News), George Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove..You get my drift. They all claim to be so moral. Newt Gingrich has admitted that he to was having an extra marital affair as he was helping to crucify Clinton.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid. Rep. Hyde was a good and moral man, which does not, of course mean he was perfect. He stood by the courage of his convictions, but was a gentleman in what is becoming a House of knaves and nothing more than a cockpit.

I salute his memory.

RIP

Remember that the charges against Clinton were perjury and obstruction of justice - both felonies.

Nope. He's dead. Honesty is not welcome in "times of mourning", ya know. We're supposed to remember the "good things" he did. It would be considered "in bad taste" to bring this up now. I personally agree with you 100% but no, this info is going to be brushed over "out of respect for the dead".

He is already being punished for his crimes by a higher authority.
