When Savio died, Peterson was freed from child support and alimony. He also inherited more than $1.5 million in various assets. If Stacy Peterson divorced him, she could claim one-half of those assets, as well as child support for their two children and a part of his $72,000 a year pension.
On Sunday, Oct. 28, the day Stacy disappeared, she told Peterson she
was leaving him and issued this ultimatum: She was going to begin
divorce proceedings, and she wanted him out of the house by Wednesday,

Hey Goth Hottie - Why aren't YOU minding YOUR OWN business? Why did you even click on the question if that is what you believe?
I noticed you have your contact blocked, you must make a lot of enemies on the internet.
Now back to exercising my FREEDOM OF SPEECH and giving my opinion on this case:
In one of the links you gave about the missing night stand and weights, coupled with this information you have posted here, I deduce that Stacey was packing Drew's things in the bedroom. She told him to get out. He said he would not leave his own home. She threatened to expose him for Savio's murder (after all Stacey was his alibi for the that event). He threw her around the room, she fell into the night stand, knocking her out, he strangled her and the rest is history.
The step brother says the contents of the container they removed was warm. Was it full of ashes perhaps? A dead body does not stay warm for very long. Drew picked up the brother in law at 7, then left him for awhile when he went to make the fake cellphone call, so the body would not have stayed warm that long. Maybe he was burning the body at the time, then left to gather up the ashes, then returned to get the step brother. But why? Drew could easily have carried it himself. I'll bet Drew had gloves on and the step brother didn't.
What has Drew threatened the kids with, surely they covered for him when they were were questioned by the grand jury.
How does this man sleep at night?

People kill for a lot less than that. And usually killers think that if they get away with it once they'll get away with it again. But most likely the second time someone will catch onto it!
OK I dont know anything about it, but what if she disappeared because she's scared? Wasn't she already saying what if?
I think it could be a legitimate reaction! I might if I thought my husband killed his ex!

I just want the facts because almost all adult victims probally have some kind of drama going on in their lives at the time of their deaths. So with out evidence cant convict. There is more circumstantual evidence in the death of his 3st wife and they should of already arrested him in that

Mind your own business and let our government do its job, UNLESS you have proof that he was involved in it.
wudbiser, I agree. What's bad about that is that we have these stupid judges and prosecutors who want to get famous and will do anything to make that happen. So, if we have people like the original poster who wants him convicted, then they will go out of their way to make that happen.
