I am looking for the perfect tree that will be the centerpiece for my yard. I will be placing the tree behind my swimming pool so I am looking for something that will not shed all of its leaves in the pool. I would also like for it to keep some sort of color year round. Hight requirement 12-20feet. Any suggestions?

Deodar Cedar, hollies and Colorado Blue Spruce come to mind. If you don't mind a few leaves, Japanese Maple and Flame Willow (beautiful branch colors in winter) would work. RScott

There are some really nice tree specimens that are evergreen for your height requirements.
Emerald Green Arborvitae
Cleyera
Loropetalum
Tea Olive - Osmanthus
Lemon Tread and False Cypress - ( you can keep the False Cypress pruned back)
Camellia (if you have some shade)
