No it is supposed to be the property of the second wife only unless he forgot to change his will and kept the first wife as the beneficiary otherwise, she has no legal right to it.

Not typically - however - it is very possible. Depends on whether the man had a will and left something to the first wife. Also, if the man and the first wife held property or assets jointly together - the first wife would then be the owner. Oh, and if the man had the first wife as beneficiary on anything, she would get it.

that depends on what's in his will, and if there were children involved. some men forget to take the first wife off of things like 401K, life insurance, etc. yet if he had children with the first wife, and not the second, and his property goes to the children, and they are underaged, by default it goes to their mother until they are of age. but if all his affairs are in order, all policies and whatnot are updated to exclude first wife, and include second wife, then the second wife will get all his properties.

I sure hope he left a will. And if he didn't ..the newer wife had better share with his children still living.

Depends on the wither or not the guy has a will, because he could leave everything to wife #1 or #2 or neither one of them. He could leave everything to his children, a friend, or his accountant. (LOL)
