How could anyone vote for a political party that supports higher taxes, criminal rights over victims rights, minority special privledges, abortion on demand, expanded welfare programs that benefit the lazy, political correctness, illegal immigration, gay marriage, government healthcare and a terrorists bill of rights while standing against our military mission in Iraq, a free market capitalist economy, limited federal government, national sovereignty and autonomy, free religious expression in the public square and personal property rights?

Because we all don't believe in all of that.
Republicans only think of themselves & rich friends & making war to make themselves richer, & send our troops abroad & then trat them badly while they are there & when they get back. Are not humanitarians, & only take for themselves, nothing for anyone else.
If your statement is true, then so is mine.

Not sure you're opinion about limited government and free religious expression is a Dem thing. But, point is they need to be there, otherwise the Republican party would turn anarchist.

Unless one is the beneficiary of the federal government's discriminatory policies -- there is no reason why someone who truly believes in freedom should or would.
That doesn't mean they should vote for a Republican either - Libertarian philosophy/policies are the way to go

1. The first and most obvious reason would be, "Just look at the Republicans". From the incompetent in the W.H., to his advisers (handlers). to the group climbing all over themselves to be the party nominee there's not an honest, able bone in any of their bodies.
2. One could vote for a Democrat by learning to think for oneself instead mindlessly chanting the mantra of the right wing sheep. You characterization of Democrats is, of course, all wrong. Piss off a Conservative this week, think for yourself!
