I always do and give them my{{{ BANSHEEE SCREAM}}} and then go on asking them the dumb questions and then more {{SCREAMING}}}} pound the phone on the table, more {{SCREAMING}}}. They never seem to want to dial my number ever again.
Or I go through the following and use the most fitting one. Man you can have FUN with them little boogers!!!!

I don't. My answering machine specifically says "Either I can't come to the phone or your number shows up as private on my caller id."
I get waaayyy too many phone calls from "market researchers" and "please donate for our good cause" people. Caller id tells me if a real person is calling, or a real somethin' else.

Nope, unless I have GOOD reason to answer an "unavailable" (My Mom's phone has an "unavailable" number). Blocked? Nope. They've gotta tell Me who They are. I don't block My numbers, and They should do the same.

I don't even have caller ID. And on my cell I have never looked at my voice mail. My daughter looked for me once and the Michigan parole board was looking for the person who used to have my number. Another time (probably same person) a really bad dude bill collector was looking for the person who used to have my number.

No way... In fact I never answer any number I do not know... It might be someone I don't want to talk to!
For that reason, I don't even answer my home phone anymore either.... If they want to get in contact with me, my good friends know to leave a message and i will call them back....

I do. My step son lives in another country and when he calls us, it comes through as unavailable. I have to answer b/c it could be him and I love him very much and I don't want him to call and we don't answer. I'll try very hard not to miss a call from him. Now after answering, and it turns out to be a telemarketer...I'll ask politely to please take me off their calling list then hang up. If the same company calls again...they sure will be getting a piece of my anger.

not blocked because that means they intentionally did it so they didn't want you to know who it was. as far as unavailable, i answer that only if i recognize the number. if the number doesn't show 9/10 times i let it go to voicemail.

Blocked, no. Unavailable & Restricted, yes.
I have a lot of friends that have restricted numbers (cops). and a few that are unavailable (government numbers), like my father-in-law's work number at NASA.

some times I do and when I do I say this "This number does not except telemarketing or comerical calls. Please remove this number from your calling list.." It sounds really corny but it seems to work. I got the idea from my neighbors they have something like this on their answering mechine.
