i need anyone's input who may have been there, or know a lot about it for a term paper. i need to ask people questions as part of the project. can anyone help?

I don't know if Rolling Stone's archives are available for those years; if not, Tom Wolfe's "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test", based on one who was there and remembers most, is spot on..........he does an excellent job of compiling what was going on with Owlsely, Keasy and The Pranksters, the Dead, Wavy Gravy ( NOT the B&J ice cream!) and a time "when there was music in the cafes at night and revolution in the air"

of course, as soon as we sobered up and didn't have to worry about Vietnam we all became yuppies and put "Baby On Board" signs in our BMWs

The summer of love was about Make love, NOT WAR! We were protesters, and that was what it was all about , stopping the Veitnam WAR. In my opinion , we need another summer of LOVE and protest this awful war the government is involved in now. Yes, I was there in 68, and we accomplished so much.
