I really feel sorry for all of you Rock lovers. Because he is never coming back. Ever. The Rock is a jerk who used wrestling to make a name for himself and split for Hollywood without looking back. I'd say there is a better chance of Andre the Giant returning than the Rock. So give up on your fallen hero, Rock fans. Embrace The Ayatollah of Rock 'n' ollah. I know there's a lot of annoying questions about The Rock but i honestly could see him coming back for one night just for the anniversary. When they aired the commercial for the 3 hour special I was thinking that there's definitely going to be something special about that night so maybe just maybe we'll see Mr. Johnson.

No the rumors are that WWE have been in contact with a major star about a return(possibly for one night only).The Rock has said so many times that he is not going to return because he wants to focus on his acting career and that hes completely done with wrestling.

its nt fair to any of the true and i mean true rock fans to hate onhim like that. i am a true rock fan. i remember when he won the slammy award & his truly great matches. he does care about wrestling & the fans. i understand why he doesn't want to step back in a ring. he made his money & he got the fame in wrestling to set himself up to do other things like acting. why risk a serious injury in the ring when he can act & not get hurt. don't blame a man for knowing when to quit instead of being forced to wrestle past his prime & wrestling to get money cuz they're broke.
the rock left while he was on top. he was great for wrestling leave the man alone & cherish the great times. he may come back for one night only

He is only going to return for that show because he was a huge part of Raw in its heyday. He is not going to return permently because he makes too much money in movies to consider a return. Why would you want to get paid less money and have the risk of being injured when you can make more money and do less work and not risk getting injured?

I doubt he'll show up. In the past they had asked him to appear for a event but he declined . Mr. Hollywood is to busy making crappy movies and he's forgot where he came from. Did you know his last movie " The Game Plan " was the last movie that he use the moniker " The Rock" . From now on it will be Dewayne Johnson. Just goes to show how much he remembers or cares about the wrestling fans.

IF he does it will be for a taped INTERVIEW/ Promo ONLY. He won't be in the arena so who cares. A taped promo coming from someone that makes it clear he doesn't want anything to do with wrestling. Duane doesn't even want to be called the Rock. So I say take his little taped promo and turn the sum b!t*h sideways and stick it up his movie star @$$.

yeah theyre getting hold of a load of old stars like The Rock, Stone Cold, and Ken Shamrock. I also heard Bret Hart was coming back for a backstage role.
