Only a Democrat wouldn't realize that raising the tax rate on the highest income earners has little if any effect on the "rich." By definition, they're "rich" because they have wealth, and we don't tax wealth in the United States (nor should we ever tax wealth).

Raising the tax rate on the highest income earners hurts those trying to move their way up the economic ladder, not those who are already there.

I haven't found the source for this one but considering the press over the past few years this may just be correct.

What group do these people belong to?
In the last year ---
36 have been accused of spousal abuse.
7 have been arrested for fraud.
19 have been accused of writing bad checks.
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses.
3 have done time for assault.
71, repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit.
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges.
8 have been arrested for shoplifting.
21 currently are defendants in lawsuits.
And 84 have been arrested for drunk driving.

Can you guess which organization this is? NBA, NFL, WWF?
No they are not members of these groups.
It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.

The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

It's not just Democrats or Republicans-- It's both of them! And sadly most of them instead of being run out of town and drummed out of their respective parties. Most of them will be re-elected!

Really ? Why then did Big Oil spend a staggering $393.2 million on lobbying this year, with 80% going to the Republicans. UH? They're all the same. Democrats, Republicans, same crap in a different toilet.

HMMM must mean that most rich people vote democratic because they are educated and know it is the party of the people. Regardless of all the stupid scare tactics republicans use, some people can see through that bull and they vote for the BEST party.

Now that you know this-----won't you be looking for a democrat sugar daddy?

yep democrats are the party of the rich and guess what we support taxing the rich.hillary and other dems while in office propsed to raise taxes of those who make over 200,000 a year, question is why u a common middle class person would vote republican if all they do is cut taxes for the rich,as george bush cut taxes for big oil so they wouldn't raise the price of gas, that worked didn't it?

The Democrats are the richest by far and intend to stay that way. Through guilt they throw a little at the poor to make them selves look good and out of guilt. they know they do nothing for the middle class and very little for the poor.

If we did not have down trodden people Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would not have a job. It is in their best interests to keep the unrest growing. Keep the Democratic party one of doom and gloom forecasts.

Did you eve notice how pessimistic the Democrats are?

They enjoy keeping things at the status quo and would rather give a man a fish then teach him how to survive. And use your tax dollars to buy the darn fish!

Liberals are a mite confused about who the rich really are. It isn't very confusing, they're just blind to the truth. One example is, I never saw farmers (the red states) throw lavish parties like Hollywood, that is Liberal controlled.

Republicans aren't exactly the party of the poor either, so what's your point?

Which party is trying to provide health care for the poor again? Which party favors more programs to help the needy? As always, you're wrong.
