I like him, he might be the Democrat I vote for. I can't think of a single real reason not to, tho I am sure his haircut will be of monumental gigantic importance to Republicans...always such depth of analysis!

John Edwards is a lawyer, that should be enough for anyone to see that he cannot be trusted. Lawyers (and i have a degree in law), are trained to be deceptive in a courtroom setting, without deception there could never be a trial in the current court system, I am aware that this answer will irritate some but you should spend a little time researching the current court system and you would never vote for another Lawyer.

He's an ambulance chaser
has made a fortune out of suing people for damages and taking the lions share of the winnings for himself
its emblematic of what is fundamentally wrong with our court system and society in general
put that on top with is $400 million fortune and the fact that he claims to be a champion of the poor????
come on, when was the last time he donated his own money to help anyone? he doesnt even use his own money for his campaign, how much of a comitment is that??

Problem number one is he supports illegal immigration. He basically wants more Americans to die. Also, he has made no creative suggestions on how to remove unwanted people from America. He just says it is impossible.
America sent humans to the moon and he thinks removing illegal immigrants is impossible. He is a small thinker.

Because he is in-favor of the continuation of immigration at a time when we need to end/stop all forms of immigration! clean-up our own country first! Also he is NOT clear on how he is going to give the majority of Americans a piece of the pie under republic of fascist Capitalism etc.

need to elaborate on your question. John Edwards is a smart man, and would make an excellent president; however, he just doesn't seem to have the backing in the party that Obama and Clinton have. Although, against republicans (in polls) he is more electable than Clinton.

Well, I'm not a Democrat. But if I were: my opinion of him is that women find him attractive, and if they didn't there'd be no mention of him because nothing else about him stands out. He basically copies watered down versions of his opponent's policies and is very quiet. He is not a player, just a follower getting lost in the shuffle.

As a lawyer he was the prime mover in a large class action suit that cost the drug industry a lot of money for some obscure ? reason. These huge settlements are part of the destruction of the country.

because if you look at his voting record, you will see what he actually believes. the voting record is the one thing they cannot hide.
