"Baby Grace"?

Ya'll read about it? Down there in Galveston her body washed up in a box and her 19 y/o mother and 24 y/o step father have been arrested.
Well, in their statement, it is said they beat her with a leather belt for 4-6 hours, held her head under water and smacked her head of the floor, all the whle, giving her pain reliever.
Why - because this precious 2 y/o didn't say "please" or "yes sir/ma'am"
Now, i have a 2 y/o and a 3 y/o and given they know their manners, as babies, they don't always use them, nor have they said ma'am or sir, i never bat and eyelash! What justifies their actions? Besides being sick. This story has us so outraged and sickened i'm wondering about other's opinions and thoughts - ESPECIALLY since it just came to light, this monster mom is pregnant again!
Now, shouldn't there be a law that abusers should never have kids again? Get tied or something, snipped, hell, death penalty sounds great too!

I have been following this story since it first aired on the news, especially since the mother & child, & little Riley's dad & grandparents are from northeastern Ohio, thirty miles from where I lived until a year ago, before I moved south. The little girl's paternal grandmother was interviewed several times on tv & she was on the ball. The stories that Riley's mom told about the disappearance of her daughter, just didn't add up, & the grandmother was right on it. It has sickened me from the very beginning to hear how this prescious little girl was found in the bay, inside the container, that was stored in a shed/garage for about two months after little Riley was murdered. I later heard what the parents did to this little girl. How can any woman also allow a man to treat her daughter this way & she's pregnant again? She should have kicked this creep to the curb a long time ago. I can see a little girl or child that age, being taught to say please & thank you, but "no sir" & "yes, sir?" She was just a little girl for heaven's sake. These two people need to burn in hell but that will come later. As for their punishment, they should be put into prison for life, but their lawyers will probably try to plea bargain, then who knows what the outcome will be. I hope the jury comes up with a swift verdict, as it tugs at their heartstrings to sit there & hear how this tiny little prescious girl was so horribly treated & killed. If this couple ever walks the streets, they should never ever be allowed to have children. What goes around comes around. God gives us children to nurture & love, then he calls them back to heaven. For this little girl, the call came way too soon.

You make a great point. I don't think TRUE conservatives think like this, though. Both the Republican AND Democratic parties have been taken over via people with ulterior motives...this is exactly the reason I am no longer a Democrat and owe ZERO loyalty to either of the parties at all. IMO, a TRUE American Patriot thinks with the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and what is best for America, NOT THE REST OF THE WORLD. Most Americans no longer think like this and would just rather watch TV and the only news that they get is from the media... How many of them actually have READ the "Patriot" act or any of the recent bills coming out of Congress? It takes time, but protecting your rights do. To answer the question which you asked, you are right. Socialism is exactly that. The New World Order that Bush Sr. has talked about is in the process of happening and this is the result. Businesses that they want around will succeed, and ones that the elite don't care about will not succeed. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer...trickle down theory is just BS.

Yep, there is no punishment cruel or harsh enough that will bring justice to that little angel- But it shouldn't stop anyone from trying! I'd like to see the forensics on the parents bodies after they zap em' to find out how scientifically someone can actually live and breath without a brain or a heart. It is astonishingly horrific story. What could have been done to protect that little girl? Her real daddy already wanted her- but the mom decided to torture her to death? That poor baby endured those sorts of things many many times before it killed her. Its not like they just snapped one day- they were born evil and cruel. People do those evil things until they are caught. The next baby would have had the same horrific abused frightened life. If only there was a rewind button and someone could have saved her. Any one of us would have taken her her to safety if we had only had the chance.

It makes me feel physically ill to think of the things they did to this child. There is absolutely no justification for their actions. None whatsoever. You could maybe, just about, understand a little if the abuse had been something that escalated over time; but this was a 4-6 hour torture session. They even stopped to give her painkillers - !

I hope they both rot in jail and I hope that the unborn child will be given up for adoption and doesn't have to hear about where she came from until she's old enough to comprehend it.

I am very thankful they finally found this pyscho couple and that they confessed.
I can't imagine any human being doing this.
I didn't know she was pregnant again! Well thankfully now that she is in prison she will have to carry the baby to term and they will turn it over to family or another family that can take care of it.

Okay. He should be castrated, put in prison for life and let the other inmates take care of him.

She should be put in prison for life, have her baby, which will promptly be taken away and she should be sterilized.

this story really just made me sick......i think they should take them and torture them just like they did the baby......and i think that the pin. is letting them get off too easy..that baby was so cute..why not give her to someone thats what i dont understand....but you know when the get to jail they will not survive long i dont think.......thats one thing people get beat up for in there..i hope they get beat daily myself..
