The question has no relevance after end of cold war and coupling of Indian economy with the rest of the world.Even if is so,who would allow to use it or shall we ever think of using it(even to threaten).No body is bullying India now.Think,Indian interests,mostly economic, shall be spread all over the world in times to come through outright buys ,acquisitions or mergers.There again,it's going to be diplomacy and not weapon systems which shall serve our interests better.Say,JAI HIND.Thanks.

india has no potential to develop weaponary. look ararjun tank, fighter aircraft. LMG coming from other countries. ordinance factory are being established to please political family # 1. The technolgy of small weapons is of WWII
There is another aspect of armament technology , terrorism low intesity war requires different weapon system which india has to buy from isreal
