A walk in a public park can be nice. Finding a tree to hide behind and fool around is even more fun. Public beaches. A library visit together. Walking through the mall hand in hand. Reading poetry to each other under a tree. Visit a 19th century graveyard and read stones together. There are a million things to do that do not require spending money which are enjoyable. Don't let a consumerist mindset dominate your relationship.

I, too, have many things to do with my time off. In my experience, if you put on a French Maid outfit, nothing will get done.

A true day off with no cleaning is the best. You know, the day when you get to rest, eat lunch with a friend or whatever makes you happy.
