I believe the saying "it's better to have love & lost, then to have never loved at all." It's better to experience the feeling of love, then to go your whole life not knowing. I think that's how it is with most things in life. We're human, we make mistakes and learn from them.....in the end it was all just a learning experience.

Your experience has strengthened you and hopefully made you much wiser and more compassionate to others in the same situation. Earth is a school and you have just had a very difficult lesson. Pass it by not being bitter and not closing your heart to people in the future.
There is no such thing as only one man in the world for you or one woman for a man... at different stages in your own development different types of men will appeal to you and now you are free to experiment with finding out more about your ideal partner.
Good luck to you and remember, it is the journey, not the destination :)

First of all, I am sorry you have experienced this. Unfortunately, I think the majority of people out there have as well. What stinks is that you did have that high of being in love and then losing it, but what you get to look forward to is having it again one day. Next time around you will know what things you don't want in a relationship, which will make it stronger. Good luck in the future in finding love again!

Unfortunately life does not promise always success to everyone. Most of the times our choices in life are that bring tragedies. We are very quick in taking decisions that lead us to defeat. But if we do not learn from our mistakes then we are prone to fall again and get hurt in the process. We need to take time before making any choices, look for counsel and advice from people we are trusting to give us good advice.

We fall in love because we are normal people. Unfortunately, not everybody will accept the kind of love we are willing to give. Why? Because they are also normal people. Normal people are different from each other. And if two people find happiness when they meet each other, that's where the magic of love occurs.
Your have not found your true partner yet, neither has he found you. Be patient. Open your heart. The person who may truly love you may just be a few meters away from you. Take care.

I think that it is better to have loved and lost. Think about it if you never went through what you did then do you think you would be so empowered right now. If not then maybe its the same for you. I believe everything happens for a reason. I would like to know what love is instead of wondering what it would be like my whole life.

*DING* You have a winner.
I agree.
The pain of losing a soul mate is the worse pain of all. It makes your entire life feel like a lie.
The good news is.... you don't have to worry about looking for love anymore. You can just look for great S*E*X! and as I have said before...if its got a good looking face, a good sense of humor and a healthy wallet to go with it that is okay too!
Good luck to you. I wish there were words to help....I really do.

it is better to love than not to love at all is my personal belief. I also believe that there is someone out there for everyone. It takes time and sometimes heart aches but you will find someone who loves you and whom you want to spend the rest of your life with. I wish you the best of luck.

first i desire to assert that life with out love has no meaning .. i agree that it s extra suitable to have enjoyed and lost .than have in no way enjoyed in any respect.. in my view and from reviews i see that we are coming to this life as quickly as so why no longer fallen in love or no longer feeling this super feeling even although you have lost it travis you will desire to be grateful reason you have been enjoyed via somebody and you enjoyed somebody ,and consistent with possibility you lived the happiest time on your life ,i comprehend whilst it s long gone it hurts extra ,yet you will desire to bear in mind how lots terrific moments and happy strategies you have lived ..once you have been in love ..whether we lost our love that's going to be consistently the terrific reminiscence for us ..
